Yildiz, Andy,
Thank you.

Andy, it might be thistle and very likely it would be thistle.
I speculated it to be a cactus flower, since I have seen some
cacti around and the flower is atop a prickly "sphere". Since
my knowledge in this matter is virtually non-existent, I correlated.

With best regards,
Sury

Hi Ken, :)

Nice shots of interesting flowers....

The first photo doesn't show unfortunately. Link doesn't work? It reads "The image orvideo is currently unavailable" on a white background.

Thanks for sharing,

Yildiz

Good one, Sury. :)

The natural light works just fine with the very warm colours of the flowers here....

I liked the garden. Certainly very peaceful to walk through and get ones thoughts straight.. if not the photo frame. :D

Thanks for sharing.

This challenge has few more days for new contributions, so I hope we see more flowers coming in from all. :D

Thanks,

Yildiz

This meadow has been planted with some of the wild flowers that used to grow in corn/wheat fields. Poppies, Cornflowers, Corn Marigold, and Corn Chamomile. From the Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall.
