Hi everyone!
Here I am with an other challenge before the Summer and its 'fairy-winged insects' are over. The idea was inspired by a Dragonfly that landed on the antenna close to my window. It was basking under the Sun to dry itself after getting soaked during a short rain shower in Istanbul the other day.
(Starter shots are shot with my Sony HDR-550 camcorder in macro mode. Apologies for the busy background)
For Challenge #58:"Fairy Wings", we'll look for those sensationally gorgeous, lacey, fragile, glass-like wings of insects and bugs that you enjoy photographing. Dragonfly, Butterfly, Locust, Cicada, Wasps, etc. are all suitable with their very intricate fairy wings.
*..The patterns on the wings should be visible and the structure readable; wing span, cross veins, folds, lobes, the wing-pigmentation patterns are required to show and be readable.
Looking forward to your entries.
Good luck,
Yildiz
Specifications:
1/..The challenge runs through 13 August 2015- .... September 2015. (You can submit photos taken earlier)
2/..The size of the photos should be ~250 KB and dimensions ~1024*1024. (Images larger in size and dimensions may be resized by the forum software if linked and rejected if uploaded using forum attachment feature. This renders the image into a mere link that can be opened in an other tab. If you want your photo to show in the thread, which is preferable, please comply with the size and dimension requirements.)
3/..You can submit as many photos as you like.
4/..It would be nice if you titled/captioned your photo to make addressing and recognition easier. : )
