A300 at the V8supercars

Unread post by Greg Beetham »

I happened too notice the nice lady next to me was using a Sony so I asked her if I could take her pic for the photography web site I habitate, (I explained I didn't have an entry in the Sony spotting section yet), and she agreed.....she had only just bought the camera and wasn't used to it yet, so I helped a little with the settings for panning and blurring the wire safety fence that was in between us and the cars.

Also there was a Sony Digicam up on a platform, but I didn't have any opportunity to talk with them.

Looks like the 18-70 with reversed lens hood and a UV filter attached.

Ah yes, thanks Kevin - the hood on the 18-70 is a strange thing :D

Thanks guys, yes I had a look at the lens after that and it was the 18-70, I asked her if she had a longer lens, she said 'yes', but didn't bring it with her, I offered her a loan of the one I was using, the 18-200 because I could have easily made do with the 100-300 from that distance for a while, but she didn't take up the offer.
