Hello,

This may well be a pretty ignorant question, but I can't seem te find a definitive answer to it.

I'm looking into buying a vertical grip for my a580, but I want to know if there is a tripod screw mount on the grip. Can I mount my camera on a tripod with the grip attached?

Yes. They don't have an extra vertical mount though, just a duplicate of the 'lost' normal tripod mount. Applies to independent ones as well as to the official item.
