loosened hotshoe...any opinions

My 58 flash gun becomes loosened again, after two years so...is there a solution for our alpha mount users? Both SB900 and EX580II have a lock and the hotshoe is metallic.

Same problem with my 42, on A550 and previously on A100.

"Again" means you already had that problem before? how did you solved it? I had not have that problem (yet) but probably because Y don't use my flashes mounted on the camera all the time...

I bought a new flash...and dunno if there is anyone who can tighten the springs on the hotshoe
