The IR remote supplied with my A900 will trigger my nex5.

So true! My daughter wanted an Ipod Touch for $250. I showed her a better Android for $150!

I think the developer was working on an Android version...
I do TOTALLY agree there is a good (better?) life outside the iPhone/iPad dictatorship. I just got an Archos 101 with Android on it, it is OK, it have expandable memory AND USB host for less than 300 US$

Yup I made my own transmitter for use with this. All you really need is the audio file then in theory you could use it with anything.
