Very interesting pics :D . Is that the much anticipated new tele lens (500mm)? I hadn't heard anything about that in the recent annoucements. If you're going back I'm really interested in any first impressions of the SEL 55-210.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

The lens was not marked but I will do a bit more digging around later on with staff. Tomorrow we have a day off to see Berlin so by the end of the weekend, I will throw up a more in depth blog post about the new lenses and accessories.

Keep posted :)

Looks like the old 300/2.8 G SSM to me.

Have a look through the EVF of the a77 and do comment here, please.
And, of course, enjoy your time. :D

I would've expect the 16-50mm to be pictured with the new A77. I may be wrong but it looks like the 16-80ZA is mounted.

Looks like a cool display though.............enjoy.

Thank you! Of course, we got an invitation to IFA from Sony - but Berlin is a bit far away... good to see all this stuff on display. I think a lot of it is heading for London next week, when there will be a press day.

Thanks a bucket! I am really still undecided as to NEX5N vs NEX7 - or should I wait for a NEX6 next year, with the 16MP sensor, less FPS and much cheaper (similar to A900 vs A850)...

I'll certainly go for the 55-210 (unless tests show it's really bad), a no-brainer for every NEX owner :D

I was just looking at some of the pictures with the LA-EA2 connected. Is it me or does it look like the motor mount or bottom I assume where the motor and chips are sticking out and will really be close to the zoom and or focus ring on bigger lenses. I know when I have the 24-70 ZA and the grip on the A700 and A580 the ring is close. It really looks close. Just and observation or question?

Nice picture visit thank you very much for sharing.

I'm interest in the sound of the shutter with the Nex7, to know if it is quiet enough to start doing picture where the sound is not allow. (or let see very little -> film studio, theatrical setup, live concert of non electric instrument, ...).

An curious about the handling of the camera, when you put a big flash on it :-) (probably the lens will be the major way to get the good handling of the camera on that time ...)

Regards,

Frank

Hey all, back from the show a few hours ago...shattered but as promised, I have tried to cover everything that people wanted and a few extras. I would copy and post photos here but after a 3000 word essay, I am knackered so you can have a read up here.

Sadly I got annoyed and walked off as a Sony member of staff came along and took the A77 from me but meh, lot more to see.

Enjoy
