NEX-7 and new E-mount Samyang 8mm f2.8 fisheye

Unread post by jeep1 »

This small compact fisheye certainly gives you 'being there' as the shot from the Olympic stadium shows. There are occasional magenta vignette edges, but that seems to vary on angles and lighting. The shot shown had very little. Some use LensFix, but I've found making quick local adjustments with Nik's Viveza 2 is also an effective quick fix. The lens is very sharp across the frame, even wide open. Also adjusted using the new adaptive wide filter in CS6. Details: f5.6, 1/320 sec, ISO 1600

Nice, and also good to see the strange LED panel for video effect.
