Let me show an image, processed with three different software. 1. LR2, 2.DXO, 3.Embedded jpeg(In camera processing)
1. LR2
2. DXO
3. Embedded Jpeg
I couldn't match green. LR is warmer. Notice corner sharpness in DXO and less vignetting. Lens is 16-80.
Thanks
Ayan

Re: DXO vs LR2 once again
Call me crazy, but I like the embedded jpg most out of this set. The first two look to me like exquisitely processed pictures, while the third makes me feel like I'm there. I suppose that out of the first two I like the first for its preservation of the subtle detail and contrast in the distant trees.

Re: DXO vs LR2 once again
I agree with Kevin - the jpeg (third) shot looks the most natrual. The other look, well, processed . There is something inetresting about the tree trunks in #2, but 3 is my preferred shot.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

I like the embedded one too .. but that's only embedded one, out of cam jpeg or IDC output doesn't match that.KevinBarrett wrote:Call me crazy, but I like the embedded jpg most out of this set. Yep, third one looks more natrual to me
Re: DXO vs LR2 once again
Okay little less processed from DXO, light sharpening, Auto distortion, CA and vignetting correction, no other PP.
For comparison: IDC. No PP. See how different it is from embedded jpeg. Color looks washed out.

I like the first pic on the last post.
You should also try enabling the Color Rendering tool in DxO with the profile from another camera, I like the Nikon D3x profile, the greens looks better than Sony's IMHO.

I like the second attempt with DXO. LR version is bit too saturated.
