It recognizes Sony and Minolta lenses.

Just installing it. I don't know yet, but it has been said that it acts much better on Sony RAW files. Sony is gaining on C/N.

I remember DK mentioning that ACR 4.5 handled the Sony colours better so hopefully this update will do the same in LR.

... and, just for the records, Adobe Camera Raw 5.5 and Adobe DNG Converter 5.5 also have been released in their 'Grand Master' versions now (for Mac/for Windows). For the last four weeks, ACR 5.5 was available in a beta version from Adobe Labs.

It seems confused by my Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro. Until today this lens was reported as

90mm

Today I get

90mm (100mm F2.8 Macro)

Adobe Camera Raw 5.5 shows the lens details too, plus Bridge now shows them for Raw files.
