ACR 4.4 does not work

I can neither see nor process my Dynax 7D's raw files (MRW or DNG) using Adobe Bridge CS3 or ACR 4.4 hosted in Bridge (however it does work when using ACR 4.4 hosted in Photoshop). Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

for instructions on how to uninstall the update and restore the previous working version

I'm still using it. The bugs seem to be failure to show thumbnails or previews. Apart from that it's working fine and it shows all my older files perfectly, it just fails with the new types (A350, K20D etc).
