Epson R2880 - inflating images at print

This one has been driving me nuts.

Images print oversize which causes problems with composition at times or if a precise size is a must as with CD case inlays. Output size needs setting at between 97 and 98 percent to achieve best fit!

This running on XP and it matters not which application prints Lightroom, PE1, 3, 6 or 8, PaintShop Pro or Xara to name but a few.

Anybody else noticed this?
