My new Mac App - PhotoHound

Background History:
A while back I wrote a utility that was specifically for use with the Alamy Stock Photography agency:
AlamySizeCheck - for Apple Macintosh OS X, Microsoft Windows, and Linux .
With this software utility you can check that your photographs are correctly sized for the Alamy Stock Agency before you upload them.In addition it also checks that the correct Colour Profile is used.
Simply choose the folder that your photographs are in and Alamy SizeCheck will check each jpg for correct uncompressed and compressed file sizes.
Anyway, it turned out that many folks were actually using AlamySizeCheck for other things, apparently it was a useful general purpose utility, though it was not ever intended to be anything like that.
So I had a little think how I could perhaps make something more general purpose along similar lines, but perhaps for a wider audience.
The Result was PhotoHound an Apple Macintosh App available on the Mac App Store.
PhotoHound for Photographers, Picture Editors and Publishers:
Simply drop a folder of photos onto PhotoHound and use it to sniff out the photo you need.
Photographers:
Display metadata for all photographs in a chosen folder.
Display EXIF.
Sort list view by any of the metadata types displayed.
Filter by type (JPG,TIFF,PNG).
Double click any photo to open in your photo editor application.
Highlight chosen file in the Finder.
Stock Photographers - before you upload a folder full of photos to your agency:
Check that you have used the correct colour profile.
Show the uncompressed size of photos in MB without having to open each of them in your photo editor.
Show Captions.
Show Keywords.
Show if EXIF data is present (or not)
Picture Editors and Publishers - find the correct version of the photo you need:
Show Format - Landscape, Portrait or Square.
Show Image Size in pixels.
Show File Type - TIFF 8 bit, TIFF 16 bit, JPG, JPG2,GIF,PICT,PNG or PNG with alpha.
Show Colour Profile.
Show Copyright holder.
Requirements:
You will need a Mac and be running Snow Leopard at present (as that is what the Mac App Store requires). However I could also write a shareware version for pre SL if anyone wanted.
If you have read this far - well done and thanks!
