CZ 16-80 versus SAL 16-105

Is there any real comparison of these two lenses? I mean IQ and other performances wise.

I have requested a sample but I fear Sony is just too slow and bureaucratic. It is next to impossible to get loan lenses from them.

I think I know what you mean. I am still waiting that Sony Middle-East declares A700 available. A couple of weeks ago, they included this item in their web page, and then suddenly took it off. And right now there is no sign of A700. As if people from the Middle East are not humans or may be seen as third or fourth sort of mankind... I don't think that market wise this side of the continent is poor. I am more prone to think that Sony employees do not work properly. There are even moments I am thinking why on earth did I switch from Nikon to Sony.
