Had a chance to take some photos of Missus and the daughter before we went on a social soiree.
It was noon, with bright flat sunlight and they were under an awning. Used Flash. Felt good about
having very minimum hot spots and not having harsh light (a bane I was dealing with for a while).
Any C&C to improve the technique is welcome, as always.
Composition is altogether another story especially in the first one.
It was hot and their patience was wearing thin. I was having problems with focus (did not realize the lens was
on MF). Grabbed a quick shot to confirm focus. Hence the cluttered background in this one.

So sweet and charming they are, Sury.
I think, what you missed doing for the first shot's composition, you made up in the second and third shots'. Well done.
The mother+daughter's nicely thought poses, glances are only enhanced by the fineness and beauty of the traditional attires.
Congratulations, Sury!

No trace of those sentiments in the photos, at all...Sury wrote: It was hot and their patience was wearing thin. I was having problems with focus…

Yildiz,
Thank you. Much appreciated. I tried my Sony Flash in the wireless mode to eliminate the raccoon eyes
on my daughter but the flash did not work and the results were unflattering. It was very hot and did not
want to invite their wrath fiddling with settings. My second flash should be arriving today after warranty
replacement and will practice some more using self as model (scape goat).

Valery, thank you. You are absolutely right. Why didn't I think of it?
