Hi, Sury;

First of all, the flowers themselves are amazing, the roses being my favourites. I love how the water droplets are clear and enhancing the overall appearance of them.
Personally I believe that the creamy roses deserve more exposure albeit the details on the petals and the leaves are amazingly visible and sharp. The background could have been darker and flowers better exposed. This inverse fall off is tricky…

Going to the dark side… and irrelevant to the flower thread. The fly just landed and froze its moves in the cool of the evening yesterday and I was able to shoot, albeit not the best of its sides. (I hope it won't offend anyone )

Kalanchoe has the ability to grow pink and yellow tinted blooms from the same stem and flower cluster

Love the Kalanchoe. Will let missus know about them. We will see if they grow in our California weather.

And, yes, the new adjustments make the shot look better to my eyes. Now there's a more pronounced negative space that make the roses stand out. The lilies look beautiful too.

Yildiz, thank you for nudging me to explore other options. I like both of them, and the lesson learned for me is that though I stopped when I liked something, sometimes it is worth my while to keep exploring. Lesson learned.

All very lovely, Sury, the roses winning over. I like the bokeh this lens produces. It can easily compete with some other popular and very expensive lenses.

As for what's happening at my end while waiting the end of Covid 19 threat …
I explored the shapes my plants could provide and my gracious Asian Lily is finally promising a bloom. Also, this morning Istanbul/Bosphorus Strait was heavily foggy and at the last minute I saw half of a submarine visible, hence everything in the frame is in halves: half of a ship, half of a submarine, the new communication tower barely making it into the frame and photo resembles an early 1900s frame.

Here they go.
