Re: Old camera appreciation!
Continuing with "vernacular", these are images with QX10 which I think is a very good camera though I had issues with maintaining connectivity. This may not be old camera but certainly is (almost) forgotten camera.
Las Vegas, Nevada. Taken in May 2014 when our son turned 21 and we celebrated with me buying him his first "legal" drink. Soon I realized Vegas is not a place a father and son should visit.

I was at Topkapi Palace on the historical peninsula and this view is of Karaköy District that accommodates historic Galata Tower and many other historic buildings.

I like this thread! Yildiz, nice photo! I want to visit Turkey again!
Here are a few I took with my KM 7D + Sigma 18-125mm f3.5-5.6 while traveling in Europe for a few weeks in 2005 using a Eurail pass.
Verona, Italy
Marktplatz, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany
Vienna, Austria
Offering me a 2 for 1 in Amsterdam?

Nice set Henry. I live the Verona and Vienna the most. I can only imagine the euphoria you were experiencing in a rebel without a cause way in Amsterdam.

Sury can see them. Maybe a temporary glitch. Reload the page, I suppose.

She was speaking Dutch so I am not sure exactly what she said to me, but she seemed in a jovial mood. I decided to pass on what I perceived to be her very kind offer.
Here is another one in 2005 on that same trip.
Chain Bridge, Budapest

Nice cityscapes, Henry.
When travelling is safer around the world, Henry, and as the unofficial citizen of Turkey appointed solely by me, you can always revisit 'your country'.
Henry's photos that he shares from his gallery indeed aren't visible and showed broken links on my computer as well.
Refreshing the page doesn't solve the problem; may be a server, region or computer security setting issue.
But, I can view them on my cellphone that shares the same telecom infrastructure. Go figure!

Re: Old camera appreciation!
I would love to visit Turkey again! My 2014 trip was wonderful. Still waiting for a vaccination here in Japan. They are very slow here.
Strange that some of you can see the photos and some of you cannot.aster wrote: ↑Wed Apr 14, 2021 8:48 am
