I was walking around Shinjuku yesterday on an overcast and sometime rainy day with the Canon 60D + Sigma 10-20mm. This is just an uninteresting shot of a guitar store at 10mm, but I discovered after downloading that I had caught myself in it too. The door was the sort that automatically opens and closes so when someone stepped out I just quickly took a shot while the door was open and before it closed again. Didn't notice that I was being reflected.

I like the thin sliver of photographer reflected there Good to know that Roger Daltrey is keeping busy as well!

It took me a couple of looks to find the reflection Henry, I probably wouldn’t have noticed it if you hadn’t mentioned it, but after you find it it stands out quite readily. I’m amazed at the amount of stock they have in that shop, I bet there is a few yen tied up in that place, some of those instruments are probably in the thousands of dollars each. Greg

In that photo you can see only about 1/2 or 1/3 of the shop. They have lots more guitars than you can see there. I have seen several big guitar shops around Shinjuku and also Ikebukuro. Lots and lots of guitars. Often they have some high-priced ones in the windows, electric and acoustic. I don't know much about guitars so I can't comment much, but I can see the prices. I saw a new violin store in Shinjuku while walking around yesterday. Wasn't there a couple of years ago and I don't even recall seeing it a couple of weeks ago.

Great shot Frank. Estella looks a little unhappy at having her photo taken though! This is my one full family shot from Santa Fe. Family Portrait by JohnLeBlancII, on Flickr

Great shots Frank and John I agree about the A900 looking small. When I first saw the picture I thought it must be an OM D5! That's a great idea John - an unusual way of capturing the whole family.

Here is an out-take from my meadow shoot on Saturday. Attachment:

I was experimenting with the fish-eye lens on the NEx 5 at different heights, hence the over-head shot (I tried to de-fish it a bit - I have got the horizontals pretty straight, but the horizon is still bowed.)
