Re: perth city
Welcome - great shot. As it happens, I could find a place for this in our magazine (wins you a T-shirt) if you would like to email a JPEG copy (2400 pixels wide) to [email protected] with a few details of the technical aspects. It just fits neatly with another photo recently seen.
Cheers

Re: perth city
Welcome to the forum from me as well - what a cracking opening picture . Really like that and I'm looking forward to seeing it in print! I always think of golden sand and blue sea when I think of Perth, so nice to see a different view.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

Re: perth city
That's a different view of Perth than I've seen before. I like the contrast effect, really black and white.

Re: perth city
Astunning picture aa los banos. Just shows it is the photographer and the A200 is a good camera although the lowest speced Alpha.
I am sure the Scots got there first and named the place Perth. The original Perth is in Scotland around 20 miles north of Edinburgh. I cannot produce as stunning a shot as the one above but here are a couple of views of the original Perth namely the High Street and one of the bridges in Perth spanning the River Tay. Both pictures were taken with my A550 and CZ 18-80 lens.
