I take my son to do sport every Saturday and I have an hour for photography in the forest nearby. Not much time and most of the time is for searching proper subjects. Today I found a really nice looking mushroom after several avarage subjects.:

Wow, wonderful shots.
Now for details. I notice you used a flash posted behind the mushroom. Which means you triggered it with another one; could you PLEASE share some details (no EXIF data in your shots).

Thanks! They should contain exif data.
I used an a100 with a 100mm minolta macro lens. Settings were ISO200 and f16-18. An external minolta 5600 HSD gave the main light from below (manually set to narrow, 85 mm I think. Snoot would be even better) using wireless settings trigerred by the on-board flash.

Thanks for the detail Marcell. I will try such a setting (in Spring, hopefully).
EXIF data are somehow suppressed. I guess it's from Flickr where you are posting. Tried to find you there with no luck.

Hi Marcell, :)

So glad you decided to share the wonderful species. Very delicate and rare one to find. I love all three. I think you did a wonderful job, lighting it indirectly so that the translucent body delivered more details ...

Lucky for us that you go out wih your camera + flash during your outings. : )

absolutely stunning shots,
but tut tut tut, have you not supposed to watch your son playing football instead of sneaking into the forest

It's not football but general sport activity for small kids. There are open days but it's usually not allowed to be visited by parrents. Of course on that days I have different photo subject.

Ok - I really like those three pictures. Especially the second one. Focus have 'run away' on the third picture or you have wanted to be on the bottom?
