Yesterday after a few days with + Celsius the cold hit us again with about -6C and the mist rolled in from the lake so that everything was covered in frost.

Dennis: I think you need to change your signature -- you may be new to this, but at least if my opinion on the subject is to be believed at all, you definitely have a lot of talent. You're producing far too nice of shots far too dependably for it to have all come from luck!

Impressive weather shots Dennis; I like the frosty tree/shrubs in the last one.

Like them all, but number 2 is a standout for me

Hi Dennis;

Strangely, this morning when tried to submit a message here, I was never able to due to a probable momentary glitch and had to postpone my comments.

So here I go. :D

Though you probably shot segments of the same scene, each frame has a different say; the first where the chimneys are visible halfway up the mist zone has a very industrial quality and can easily be interpreted as 'impact of bad industry on weather'. The rest have a very romantic appeal... : ) Frost certainly has a romantic flavour when in photos, though it bites in real.

Thanks for sharing,

Great tone of blue to background the turrets, Dr. Harout.

I like the stonework on the surfaces.

Overcast and rainy here...still. Doc I like the achitecture in the shot but I'm fascinated by the tiny replica mounted on the sill up to the right? what is the purpose of that, do you know?

Dennis, the signature still doesn't reflect the images you make. In my opinion, you have a good eye for this. Your images are technically and aesthetically very appealing.

You should change your signature to: "I'm too modest for my own good!" :lol:

Yesterday night, after a huge change in temperature (~20c in quick time) there was huge smog over Montreal for a complete day).

Here is a walk before to go to bed for Evan with his Grandmother :-) :

It was also the first try to do very low light photography with the NEX 7, so far so good :-).
