Very nice flower studies Marcell, I really like the dof control, just about every part of every flower is in focus, nice work.

Lovely bright, spring feel to those flowers Dennis -I especially like that real close-up one in #3.

Those are bright and cheerful Dennis, I like the dof control in #1 and the closup is good too as sometimes yellow on yellow is difficult to get contrast and edge definition with.

From our front yard. Today has been a beautiful sunny day in Northern California, USA. These are with a Kiron 80-200 lens on A900 with MD/MA glass adapter.

Great shots DennisG and Sury! We don't have too many flowers in our yard yet, but the patch of Bluebonnets by the road have sprouted up again, so I took my camera out tonight. Shot with a700 and 70-200G. John

Thank you. Here is one with Vivitar90 from couple of days ago. I cropped it a bit. I wonder if the background is distracting or adding.

Fabulous colours John - I like the bokeh from the 70-200 :)

Nice yellow flower there Sury, shows what a bargain that Vivitar is. Personally I generally like the background out of focus - but that's just me :) I also like the colours of the subject flower echoed in the background, just as John has shown so beautifully above - a great effect.
