Dennis-I like your Meteogram, A quick view of conditions on an easy to read graph.
It is beautiful today here in McKinney, TX 24° C, Winds S @ 14 km/hr, humidity 69% clear skies. A perfect day.... Last night, however was a completely different story. A storm front came through, with winds gusting to 80.7 km/hr. Our neighborhood escaped damage, but this neighborhood always bears the brunt of any storms that come through the area. It has no buildings or trees to the north and west of it (the direction most heavy winds/storms come from in this area) so you often see houses missing shingles, or fences down there.

Good ones John, you do get some dramatic weather/scenes there at times.

A trip out for some different woodland walks for us and the dogs.
The Bin Forest near Huntly in North East Scotland.

Springer heaven, a muddy puddle. Both had to go in the bath when we got home.

The long road home.

A cool day with a northerly breeze.

The shot of the dogs is cool Mike, I like the 'long road home' shot especially.

Hi Greg, : )

Well done! All came through nicely after soem hard work. The boards look brand new... : ) And the construction site has somethings that resemble a bridge actually. :D A slight change in the scenery...though apparenty you're not satisfied with the process speed.

Hi Dennis, : )

Neat meteogram. I think I'll refer to it from time to time.
Thanks for the link.

Hi John, : )

The skies look very compelling and beautiful in a strange way thanks to the storm apparently...sorry to see some type of devastation in the neighborhood.

The expression on Ian's face is priceless; I couldn't decide if it was a sign of concetration or an apparent unpleasant feeling that things were not as good as he wished for. That's some frown across the forehead. : )

Hi Mike, : )

The dogs are doing it again; chilling in muddy water... : ) I can hear you say like th elast time at the beach, that they smelled really bad on the way back.
I'll join the rest of the forum members on your excellent shot of the road leading up into the woods..

Thanks for sharing all,

Yildiz

The weather for the holiday weekend was mixed. On Sunday we had nice weather which was mostly dry with some some sunshine.

We went for a walk in a local nature reserve called Ravenshill Wood. As well as the wood being very interesting, it has great views of the sourrounding country side such as this. (No Ravens were seen - sorry Mark!)

There were lot of interesting paths to explore, and the woods are springing to life with new leaves on the trees.

Both shots with the Sony Nex 5 and SEL 16/2.8 - great for country walks with the family :) .

Today was a far less pleasant day - lot of rain and very little sunshine. We went to visit a castle, but the surroundings proved more interesting for pictures.

Both with Nex 5, SEL 16/2.8 and the wide angle converter.
