This could have been in FAUNA thread but what is significant about this shot to me is that this marks 29999 on A900 since I bought it in December 2009. I bought A900 and A700 together in December 2009 and A700 is around 15000 clicks so far. The last click on A900 is at 32006. Just came back from Alaska vacation and the camera so far has held up very nicely. Probably it may need sensor cleanup after the trip. Is the bear photo at Denali NP? Good going! You have certainly used your A900 and A700 a lot and that's good that they are still working well for you.

Yes, it is in Denali National Park. Though this is not best of the lot I took, this was the tipping over to 30K image. I am still processing my 4500+ images. With best regards, Sury

Great to hear the A700 and A900 are going strong Sury. That is about as close I would want to get to a big bear like that . Looking forward to more pictures of Alaska.

Henry, Birma, I am in the process of "uploading" and "cleaning" the images. They will be coming soon....
Birma, Thank you.

Good shot from the holidays, Sury. : )
You must have been excited seeing a predator giving you the opportunity for a good photo shoot.

Yildiz, Yes indeed. It was a "shoot to thrill" experience. Yet at the same time, one can sense the tension in the bus, though these beautiful creatures are about a mile away minding their own business. Interesting experience. Sury
