Pleasant scenes Birma, the morning mood is quite evident, I still like the one with the flowers as one of the best though.
I like the grass in the B&W also Barry, we’ve seen that same hill before in a different composition I’m sure.

More great shots of Teme Birma- that mist is wonderful in the first shot.
Last night we had a steady rain that lasted for hours, of course the show must go on for the band... I'm glad I bought Ian a plastic clarinet for marching!
Today, overcast and cool here in McKinney 19° C, 73% humidity.

Weather In Istanbul:
Light Thunderstorm Rain
Temperature:23 °C ;Feels Like 23 °C
Wind(km/h):13
----------------------------------------------------------

Wondeful shots!

:D Istanbul is rainy and feels cool.

John, Ian and his band is looking more and more professional with each photo you post. : ) Nice lighting and details on a rainy night.

Dennis, yet an other action shot taken nicely. : ) I admire how steady your hands are during the camera-tracking. Neat details.

Mike, lovely beach shots. : ) Good reason for the dog to cheer about. I like the cubic concrete masses that randomly protrude out of the sand and water. They provide a little abstraction in a natura setting.

Ken, welcome to the forum with amazing photos. :D
Istanbul just had a couple of lightings a few hours ago but I was caught unprepared and lack the wonderful On-The-Moment shots that you shared with us in your post. : )) Nice...nice. Great sky shots.

Thanks all for sharing,

Yildiz

Thanks! I get about 2 or 3 chances to get lightning shots a year. (3 kids and timing!) I have a bunch more, this year was good. Season is mostly over now :(

Here's from yesterday (today's much the same) from Rafailovići, Budva, Montenegro. About +26C at 18:35 local time.
Heavy tone corrections applied in Lr4 just to make it look as my eyes saw it while the image was fresh in my memory.

(Done with an a700 and very nice lens - Sigma EX DG 15mm f/2.8 diagonal fisheye @f/2.8. I highly recommend that lens as a travel wide fix for APSC; it's small and quite unbeatable at its size and weight.)

Our first frost last night. Taking the garbage out to the curb, I noticed the dew on the top of the lids was frozen.

A high today of 64F/18C. Winter will soon be here, but even after a blazingly hot summer, I don't want it!

Wow! This thread has been dead since Oct, when I posted about the first frost.

This past weekend, and into today, we are into full blown Indian Summer, with the highs reaching 24C/76F!

I'm loving every minute of it!

The weather hasn’t changed here from then till now except it’s got slightly warmer, so quite monotonous.

Rode the bike across the newly opened bridge late on Sunday and took a snap from the other side looking back.
