Tree always goes up after Thanksgiving holiday . Outside Xmas lights too!

I see. As Thanksgiving is an American holiday and I'm not American, I wasn't aware of this tradition. Thank you for explaining.
We start working on a tree in the second half of december most of the time.

 Yes an American holiday. Plus the 3 boys can never wait. I see you are in the Netherlands. Fun to talk to people around the world! Some people here actually have had there tree up since November first.. That is too early

Believe me, we have those people here too  Here in the Netherlands, and some Belgians too, celebrate a holiday on the 5th of December which is as exiting for all the children as Christmas is for American children. I think that's the reason we're a little later with starting with Christmas than you. Mark
