Hi Robbie, Wonderful to see you back after ages... Neat set of bird photos as others already mentioned. They are all great in their own uniqe way for choice of the species or the pose. Congratulations on the A99! : ) Hope to see your photos here more often. Yildiz

Another great set Robbie. Especially like the event and use of DoF in the second image.

I won't pretend to be a bird shooter however I was goofing around with the 90mm macro which turned up yesterday and this landed. Attachment:

The 90mm macro is a pretty sharp lens... nice sharpness and short DOF.

Hi all, Went out shooting a bit yesterday after a long time. I had a lot of fun at the end of the day overlooking a small field where a few buzzards were chasing each other at the golden hours. Caught this one in flight. I'm going to edit the image a bit later today. I don't like the tone at all, but have a hard time correcting it. Mark

Did 2 new edits of the same image of the buzzard. I like the tone of this one better. But I like this one most of all. I have a soft spot for the "wet plate" look! Mark

What a great image this is aa! You get a great sense of the attack and you can almost feel the sharpness of those talons! Jikes!
Do you know which species it is? Is this one from your "birdsnappers" movie images?
Mark
