Tsawwassen 0ºc. Partly Cloudy.

Some great shots by all.

That is a fine looking bridge Greg, well constructed. Looking at it from this angle I
can see why it took as long as it did. Great shot to boot.

Great display of lightening Ken. Would be nice if you put a little space between the photos.

Thanks DA it was a bit of a thrill to finally ride across the new bridge to the other side that since I went to school was pretty much only accessible by boat although there was a rough 4X4 track.

San Jose, CA Weather was 60oF/16oC, partly cloudy. This is from a nearby local part called
Almaden Lake Park. My first outing with 70-400.

Still no snow here (I prefer it comes on Dec 23rd and goes away by Jan 3rd).

Warming trend for the next few days, 48F/9C now, will hit 58F/14C by Saturday.

Looks cold Ken. It's cold here too, but without the snow unfortunately.

A day and night of heavy rain following snow means flooding.
This was the river Don 5 miles from Aberdeen.
The course of the river is obscured by the water in the fields.

Loks like the weather really changed for some of you! : )

Greg, to see the bridge is a relief for me! :D Newly planted trees will hug the foot of the bridge too, it appears. Glad that you are already riding your bike to go across.

Thanks for sharing.

Some rain today and maybe a little snow in te coming days in Istanbul.

Thanks Yildiz it sure is a great thing to have now it’s finished, my infrequent trips to the dump in the old truck loaded up with trimmings from the garden will be a lot shorter with less obstacles now, that’s one advantage for me.
Those trees that you saw actually plant themselves, mangroves have a torpedo shaped seed that sticks in the mud so they can strike and grow in saltwater mud without any help from us, an amazing and absolutely essential tree for sure they create a complete ecosystem and nursery for the tiniest life forms through too in between and full grown for a large variety of species.
I’m not sure how the wildlife is going to cope with a road going through that hinterland area, with heavy transport trucks and other traffic night and day suddenly being there when they never have been exposed to such things before, I went for a ride yesterday a good distance along the road and noticed a dead squashed monitor (very big lizard) already, I didn’t see any dead marsupials of any kind though…yet.

Townsville weather: warmish, muggy-ish and hazy-ish.
A700 KM18-200
I love the nice big wide bike lane/walkway with a very large solid barrier to keep the idiot cars and trucks at bay.

The little sandy beach is where I took the first photo from; the tide is in though in this photo.

Another warm but rainy day here - 45F/7C. Possibility of snow on Thursday night.

Since my driveway is shaped like this, \, I prefer it to not come just yet!

It is 12oC/54oF, cloudy and a tad bit of drizzle after a heavy rain.
