One more to go...

Unread post by sury »

Well, thanks to 25 years of marital bliss, I am enjoying another kind of bliss.
I set about to acquire 70-400G, Zeiss 24f2 and Zeiss 24-70f2.8. So far got
2 out of 3 in the backpack. :D Received the 24f2 tonight. It was raining out
and managed to get couple of backyard roses (posted in weather thread).
It is a different perspective to use such a WA lens. I am trying to figure out
where I would be using the lens. It sure is going to be fun learning to use the lens.
If I can finagle the 24-702.8, I should be happy for some time to come
(till April may be when the birthday comes by  )

Thank you Robbie and Yildiz. It was a weird experience trying to use the 24mm.
I was so used to the zooms that the first time the lens was on, I was shocked
to see how big the view finder is, and how small everything looked. I guess I was
so used to looking "smaller" things that I have to retrain my mental eye to see
differently. Well, as long as I have friends here to depend on, I will be ok. :)

With best regards,
Sury

Sury, I am happy for you. In fact I'm waiting for these few hours left to receive my a99 in hand and try the 24/2 right away.
Still 3 hrs left...
