Landscape 2013

Unread postby sury » Sun Feb 03, 2013 8:57 am

Today I was in Napa Valley, California (One of the more popular wine growing regions) and the valley was in a
riotous "burst" of mustard fields.

With best regards,
Sury

That's a nice view and a nice place, it seems.

My hay fever will have a field day in that place. It's much better looking to it from behind a monitor :)

Great view Sury and super colour. Ah, spring can not be far away here either; the snow drops and crocuses are out. I'm itching to get out for some pictures this weekend.

From a very clear morning, after the snow had melted. The ground is still absolutely sodden. You can see the water standing in the furrows of this ploughed field.

Andy, I am with Doc on this one. Very nice shot.
Ken, empty bottles in the car would be frowned upon by law enforcement officials.

Atishoo! From me too, Sury. Great colour, there.

Birma - lovely light on that one - reminds me of the 'golden hour'. (I don't often see dawn) It reminds me of some I took last week of furrows but from a very low elevation -

I am not sure this is a landscape picture but i post it here anyways ;)

What i like about it is the hole down to the right in the clouds that gives it allot of depth.
the effect works better with a bigger picture but 1024* has to do ;)

Bless you Pat!!! :) Nice shots. Love the reflection in the first one and the gentle curve leading to back in the second one. Second one is my favorite.
I see land, so Dennis, it qualifies for the landscape. As you probably know we are not a picky bunch here. :D Nice shots.

Thanks Doc, Sury, Pat and Yildiz :)

Looks like your fields are as waterlogged as ours Pat.

Great sunset Dennis - definitely landscapes in my book :)
