aa los banos,
That is a nice capture of the raptor. You should immediately post in
the challenge BIF. The last day is today.

Amazing shot of the raptor! A winner for sure. If I were pushed towards any criticism I'd say a little more space to the right and bottom would give this bird some space to 'move into' and give a greater power to the shot.
A beautiful bird and a well executed shot.

Superb shots as always, aa!

DA: bummer about the harsh lighting conditions. It does seem to smell trouble as the stance looks strained.

A few from last weekend.

Wow, wow, wow! The standard of pictures in this thread is brilliant.

Special mentions for the Coote and chick, and that Osprey :)

Magic Coot (Swamphen) chick shot Mark with the little wings sticking out.
I like the Kingfisher aa, they are very difficult to get near just walking around, their eyesight is outstanding.

Mark,
Thank you. Here is the photo of the food. This one was taken by my friend with whom I went for the walk and
photography session for him. He learned to move away from the auto to A, S and M mode that day. :D
He caught this shot and I was on the other side of the bird so I got the tail end and a bit later.
