Thank you Mark and Valery.
Valery: This is without the flash. I am trying to remember what that white squarish thing in the background....

Lovely colours Sury and Mark :)

That swirling background is interesting, Mark, but I agree with Valery that the frog shot is something special! :)

Nice photos from the last few day but Mark's pictures are outstanding.
I wanted to take some macro photos in the nature but it was raining this afternoon, so I had to find some photo subject inside. My wife got a bunch of garden flowers, so I set up the macro studio (nex-5, sel30f35, wansen radio trigger, yongnuo manual flash and a DIY rim light fiber optic adapter). I selected 3 photos for the topic:

I love that you stick to your own style Marcell. I always know they are yours when browsing on Flickr. These are again great examples. I like the was you push/flash the background away. The first and second image do it for me most.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the nice words! I'm experimenting with different lighting ways but mainly coming back for this rim-light effect as my favorite.
I read somewhere that an own style is important for a photographer. Maybe I will deepen it further.

Cheers
