Somewhere around 10,000 feet I came across these wild flowers near a water fall. I believe they might be Redstem Cinquefoil Flowers, which is a type of Potentilla. Typically they are thicker or bushier but these were growing out of a crack.

I'm not a botanist so if anyone has any idea what they are, let me know.

10,000 feet? Wow. Where is that? Just curious. Nice shot but the background is tad distracting.

Sury it's in the Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming. Relatively isolated. We were on an overnight hiking/camping trip and didn't see anyone else until the second day. And then it was only a total of 7 people we saw for the duration.

I very rarely take flower photos, but a few days ago we were at a temple and out behind it there was a pond full of flowers. There was a group of photographers there with their tripods taking photos. I took just a few.
