Excellent shots Richard, especially #1 and #3 are my favorites.

Very nice Richard. I especially like the silhouetted picture.

Great shot! You need to have good eye to come out with this sort of picture from that kind of happening. Convoys an artistic eye.. :)

Another rain based shot from our holidays. We mostly had nice weather, but it is just the few rainy bits inspired me to make more pictures :) Processed using the rather wonderful Silver Efex Pro.

Otherwise great shot, but with a blue tone this is 'Moonlight and Showers' to me. You could also do a sepia version to see if it looks better - that is more sunshine. Regarding the content itself I rather like how you convey the eye down to stairs and then to platforms. Raining also adds a little texture on top of image which is nice. :-)

As soon as you mention the blue cast I got it exactly - mmm. Because I was there I knew it was day light - but what you say makes perfect sense. I will look at the tone again. I really like the light over the sea. I would like a telephoto shot of just that bit of the image as well. Next time :)

Yeah, it's interesting how much knowing the original circumstances can affect ones understanding of picture. I believe this shot could work as neutral bw as well - if you are not into sepia. But regarding the blue I love it in bw pictures, having a right amount of it makes pictures look silver and I like it very much. This one might also work differently if printed on paper.

Here is another B&W from the same location - different time of day. A greener tint to this one.

Superb and masterful composition, Birma! Especially the position of horizon with a wall. Brave move which introduces a very classic and graphical outcome. One of the best from you regarding the composition. Tint works nice too. :-)

Thanks Toni :) . I struggled with where to put the horizon and so I'm glad it worked for you.

Late entry on this couple of shots of the "harp player"
Not sure which one I prefer but I liked the light (even the flare)
