Re: Flowers 2015
Jeff,
I love the blurred foreground. Are the colors smudged a tad on the pink flowers or is it my eyes?

Thanks Sury. I'm not sure what you mean by smudged. The two lower flowers are out of focus towards camera. Perhaps that's what you are seeing. I wanted to use a smaller aperture but it was a very dim overcast sky and I left the tripod about 100 ft behind me.

Re: Flowers 2015
Jeff, you are right. I was looking at the lower two flowers. The problem was that I was using my iPhone to see them and was zoomed on the lower flowers. I did not see the edges of the flowers and hence my comment about being smudged. Thank you.

Excellent bokeh there Jeff. Is that bearded Iris? Very sharp indeed.

Thanks Sury. I must admit, all I know is that it's an Iris.
Re: Flowers 2015
It's nice to see these sweet flowers you folks post. So far all we have is dandelions. It snowed last weekend so not much in nice flowers here yet. Please keep them coming.

You have such beautiful flowers Sury. I think the darker background goes well with this shot.
