These are some of cars that were on the display at the SF Car show. I did not realize till I came home that should have taken the CPL to cut down on the glare. Every year it is the same story. Some how this old dog is not learning even an old trick
Pagani Huayara (~US$1.5M)
The venerable Bugatti Veyron (US$2.1M)
Porsche Spyder (US$995,000.00 ONLY )

Mike,
Thank you. When I see the price, I freeze and stiffen up and if I think I can afford one, I "swell" with pride so much, it
becomes a moot point to buy this tiny cars. Either way I am out.
JB, Yessir... How would you like to pay? Cool cash, clear check or drowning debt?

Well, the word on the forum is that your wife is generous and understanding. Let's say we run it by her.

JB,
You are absolutely right about Missus. She, made a generous offer to me to get her a convertible.
Understandably that is the extent of her generosity.
Sury
P.S. She saw these beauties at the show and did not evince (thankfully ) in any of these models.

Seriously, I've always been a car aficionado, but too poor and too sensible to go for the big ones, so I came up with a solution:
1) Win a really big lottery (kinda hard, esp. since I don't wast my money on them)
2) Compile a list of all the exotic sports cars you would ever want
3) Find the rental agency that will send you 1 from the list every month, taking back the other one.
4) After 2-3 years and having had every supercar imaginable, buy a nice new SUV or minivan to haul the family around in
5) Whenever anyone mentions XYZ supercar, tell them "Yeah, I had one, traded it in for an ABC supercar."
We can dream, can't we?
Dusty
An a700, an a550 and couple of a580s, plus even more lenses (Zeiss included!).

Absolutely. At least it does not cost much to dream, other than your sleep.

Wise man. Doubt I could afford the fuel for it over here in the UK. Unleaded petrol has just dropped to around £1.00 per litre with the collapsing oil price.sury wrote:Thank you Andy and Mike.

I whisper quietly that I drive a diesel VW
