Mark,
I checked your website and you have fantastic images there. Hopefully more of them make it here.
Look forward to more of your images.

With best regards,

Beautiful studies and colours in all of those, Jeff. The green looks lush in all of them as well. :)

I wonder if you get any time to study with
such beautiful things around you and the scenic beauty all around. Love the yellow rose most.

Thanks guys. The green in the gardens is really starting to stand out since its spring down here. Sury, sometimes it's pretty difficult to force myself to study. I'd rather be walking around with my camera.

Hope it was not too much trouble. Love the translucent petals contrasting the dark color of Cacti (body).

.

Beautiful, Jeff. : )

The details of 'islands' on the cactus body are also magnificent; like looking at a map of islands...The flower of course is the eye-catcher.

Thanks for sharing,

Yildiz

Normally I start with a preset that is developed for lens/camera combo and on this one I simply went for Auto and liked the high keyish effect. What do you think?

Good light and nice detail.
I would have cropped off some of the top.
Edit: One second thought, portrait orientation might work better.

Here is one for you.

Nice shots Sury and JT. I needed to get out the house and so I grabbed my camera. I used the MD 70-210 beer can for these shots.
