Friends,
I have been almost absent from the forum for the last 2 1/2 months for various personal reasons.
I have been beset by series of misfortunes. In the last week of April, 2 days before I turned 60, I
lost my job. Two weeks later, I lost my sister-in-law. My brother was married when I was 11. She
was in my life for 49 years. I used to feel smug that I have two moms, only to realize the pain twice.
I was diagnosed with Cavernous hemangioma (tumors in brain whose location in my case make them
inoperable) which caused involuntary movements in my left leg and hand.
Things are slowly turning around. I found another job (very fortunate) and has been gainfully
employed for couple of weeks. My lesions turn out to be benign and brain is repairing itself nicely.
Most of my involuntary movements have subsided.
I am slowly recovering from the loss of my sister-in-law.
Hopefully I will be back at full speed soon.
With best regards,
Sury

Welcome back, Sury;
It's infinitely so good to hear that things turned around and what set you back in health is benign. My deepest condolences for your loss. Remember the good times and memories. We humans are all on the same journey, going to the same place, hence meet again perhaps ?
Looking forward to your usual cheerful self and forum presence with lots of new photos on the plus side.
Stay strong and all the best !

Sometimes our suffering is unavoidable. I sincerely hope that you heal quickly and get back to doing the things with and spending time with the people you love.

Oh boy, that is a lot of misfortune recently. I am very glad the health problem has turned out to not be as serious as it seemed in the beginning. And that is great that you have found a new job! Best of luck!

Life is always about hoping things will get better and better and better... then hopefully the best.
When surrounded by good people, good prayers, good intentions, good faith, goodwill and genuine love, life becomes more bearable and worthy.
And all things will work out, Sury. You are surrounded by all those qualities.
How about some flower shots from the garden that your wife tends to turn into a heavenly place ?
Have a good day.

Re: My haitus
Sury,
Sorry to hear of your loss and other problems, but I'm glad that things are turning around for you.
I've been away myself for various reasons, but NOT because of problems in my life - really just the opposite as I pursue the possibilities of new direction.
I'll be praying for you and your family.
