Hmmm. So I have A100, A700, A900 and A77II. I am seriously GAS'ed about A99II.
One of the reason I am holding back is "too many bodies". I think I found clarity.
Thank you Andy and Jeff. My bank balance may suffer but I am sure going to feel
better.

Sury
P.S. I am told 135/1.8, 24-70/2.8 and 24/2 Z lenses make a fantastic combo on A99II.
Please confirm it and help me make the case to the Finance Minister.

Sury, you're absolutely correct. Those lenses will make an excellent combo with the A99II. Also, I was given a message to pass on to you. The Finance Minister just called and she said, "Tell Sury he can buy whatever he wants without out any fear of repercussions."

Hi Sury;

Your photo-physician Jeff is not helping with the 'inner discipline enhancement and application' treatment prescribed, Sury. Maybe you should seek a second opinion for further clarity. :D I see that you have a 'small museum-worthy' collection of bodies from Sony... Keeper of the Sony Alpha-body and Lenses Legacy ?
If you're decided on acquiring though, who can stop you...seeing that you have a supporting Ministery of Finance all to yourself and name. :)
I just hope that Sony reads your post and thinks a little more deeply into how to shape the next generation of body+lenses, with all things going no-Alpha no more... :) Dedicated would-be customers like you may help them make a U-turn back to the roots.

Yildiz,
If you put it that way, I have to sacrifice for sake of fellow Alpha (Mount) users.

Thank you Yildiz for your encouragement. Yesterday I realized that I have not used my A900 at all in 2017. That made me wonder if I need another body. 42MP sounds so tempting.

Hi Sury; :D

As I mentioned earlier, you have a small 'museum of Alpha mounts' in your possession. That's impressive because many already moved onto more advanced bodies and mounts whilst selling the legacy cameras of Sony Alpha.

I think you already made up your mind and, yes, 42 mp and many other features sound more than promising... :D And you already sound happy as though you already have them in possession! I hope you get a good sample of each and enjoy a good round of shootings.
Don't forget to share the photos with us ! :) This enthusiasm translating into new photos, new endeavours with new camera and lenses sounds hopeful.

I think the proper response to that problem is to see if another PCA member needs an A900.

I can think of at least one!

Dusty
An a700, an a550 and couple of a580s, plus even more lenses (Zeiss included!).
