I recently picked up a Tamron 28-75/2.8 and my initial impressions were a little underwhelming, but I decided to take it out to a Classics car meet held at Eastern Creek raceway and put it through its paces. The sky gave me a lot of unpredictable lighting just to make it all the more fun
Here are some of the images from the day (sorry I don't really know the models of the cars)

Nice car pics Wwind . The blue car is a Morris Minor. A very popular car from the 60s in the UK. I don't remember them having front spoilers or such snazzy paint jobs. Matt khaki green was probably the original colour .
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

A beautifully restored Buick and a pretty deadly looking MM there V. Nguyen. The 28-75 seems to bash out a pretty good photo.

I would love to see that Buick from its side.

Greg, the Buick is immaculate inside and out. The rear seats were very comfy and plush. Dr. Harout, I'll upload a side view when my PC comes back from some maintenance
