Western Canada

Unread post by david antony »

Western Canada trip. Left here last Monday, arrived back yesterday Sunday.

Mt. Sir Donald in the Selkirks last Monday.

Image

Mustard seed (I think?) 50 mile east of Brandon. On my way back from Winnipeg last Friday.

Second one is just fantastic, David, especially with the Red Roof home breaking the monotones of the mustard field and the sky.
The dark foreground is overshadowing (no pun intended) the image in the first one, IMHO. Perhaps some local adjustments
could enhance the photo.

With best regards,
Sury

I think of Banff Springs when I think of western Canada. The 1st image takes me there, almost.
Thank you.

Yes Banff, Lake Louise & Jasper certainly are the most popular spots.

As a golfer, I could not resist mentioning Banff.
One day, maybe.

I love the mustard field. The photo of the mountains also took me back to my trips through Canadian Rockies. I'm going to have to do that again. Thanks for sharing.

I see your Moosejaw and raise it with 9 Snowbirds.
My apologies if you feel I have hijacked the thread. It was
done in jest.
Your Snowbird was a static display?

With best regards,
Sury

Beautiful pictures DA. :) Sury is right - the red roof over the mustard seed field, under that blue sky is a cracking picture.
