That is a great shot. Dimage A1 is what started my photography. It died on me a month
before warranty expired and Good Guys (store where I bought the camera) gave me full
money I paid, and I bought an A2. Fantastic learning tool and ahead of its time.

Wow - beautiful landscape, DA! Love the honey coloured light falling down the flanks of the mountains, and the reflection.
Nex 5, Nex 6 (IR), A7M2, A99 and a bunch of lenses.

October 2010. Shinnecock Hills on Long Island is one of the most respected and historic golf courses in America. Playing there is a privilege for any golfer. One of the best golfing weekends of my life.
Windy as hell and great fun.
The next day was The National Golf Links of America. That is one step higher than Shinnecock on the prestige ladder.
Clubhouse is dwarfed by the landmark windmill that lords over the property.

So you are into Golf as well, JB. Love the first one. Was tempted to say "shocking" on the third one,
but that is so predictable, I will not say it.

Nice shot Henry. I love the muted background contrasting the people and tractor.
I am curious to know how you achieved it.

Thanks. It was early on a foggy morning so that is what you are seeing. Here are 2 more on the same morning as I was walking around.sury wrote:Nice shot Henry. I love the muted background contrasting the people and tractor.

I don't know if I should admire the photos or your penchant for travel.
Perhaps, both.

Golf got me into photography. It makes you read the land, discover the shape of things, and then to interact with them.
Henry,
You take old school to a different level. A world traveler, what better hobby than photography?
Always enjoy your work.
One more from The National
And another from Cambridge, Maryland taken in 2007.
