A couple of more from Arequipa, Peru
A favorite past time of the kids down at the plaza is feeding the pigeons. The other two shots are of two separate cloisters in what is a former monastery turned tourist shopping area. I'm sure the church still owns the property and makes money from the rent or the businesses in some other manner.

What a pastime. My kids favorite pastime
is watching TV. Nice capture.
If it were not for floor patterns I would
have thought you posted it twice. Nice angle on the cloisters.

They probably don't have TVs. While relatively cheap to the industrial world, some people are still living on $5 a day.
Reminds me a story I read of an American in Peru visiting an "Adult Entertainment" establish, and smoking a large cigar. The guard asked him about it and he offered him one. The guard asked what they cost in the US, and he replied "About $8".
Quite shocked, the guard said "They're as much as a night with a hooker?"
The American, just as shocked, said "You can get a hooker for $8?"
Costs are relative, but let me remind everyone that the real cost of a hooker is 1/2 of everything you own in the divorce proceedings!
