A cracking picture, Doc. How did you calculate exposure?

AE Andy, just let the camera decide; but now I think I should've shot with a bit of - exposure.

Here's a couple I took tonight. The first is 15 seconds but the second is only .8 seconds because I opened it up to f/3.2 for a little more background blur and hopefully to bring the focus to the lover's names on the handrail. At any rate Doc, here they are.

I like the second one too. It's very attractive, and I love the way the line leads you to the background.

My (poor) attempt at long exposure. From Triburon looking at San Francisco. 5 sec. exposure, camera resting on a rock.

Sury, looks like a great place to shoot night shots. I think that this shot would be better either with much shorter exposure (to eliminate the slight movement of the boat and planes in the sky) or with a much longer exposure (to smooth out the water and add more motion to the moving objects). Of course, that might not work that well with the boat in this situation. However, I really like the blue lights and reflections to the left and think that a vertical shot of that area with a longer exposure could work nicely.

Just my two cents.

Now that I have the A77m2 back from the repair shop, I thought I better take some photos.
