I noticed few weeks ago that Blurb photo book prices have dropped. Also their shipping price to Japan has dropped. In 2015 this B&W book I made in Lightroom was $70, but now the identical book is $50. The shipping to Japan was $23, but now it is $11.About 3 weeks ago I decided that […]

A true testament to Climate Change/Global Warming only akin to gigantic cracks in Antarctica's ice mass that we witnessed around the same time. […]

  • Give it Your Best Shot • After the Storm November 20, 2017
One cannot visit the Florida Keys without feeling the impact of Hurricane Irma. Just minutes from the home where I stayed is a refrigerator graveyard. It processes units that have been transported […]

Four new Alphas – and two ‘translucent’

It’s a funny word to use, because the mirrors involved are transparent and not translucent (which implies passing light but not in an image-forming manner). But now, thanks to the . . . → Read More: Four new Alphas – and two ‘translucent’

I’ll explain here exactly what the implications are, and why a future model – let’s call it . . . → Read More: How the live view A300 and A350 will work

The A300, A350, A750?

In mid 2007, rumours of a 14.8 megapixel Sony sensor came from the usual Far Eastern ‘inside’ sources. As a full-frame Alpha model (the so-called 900) had been previewed at PMA 2007, it was possible this megapixel count related to full frame, or near-full frame. It now looks as if it may have been a . . . → Read More: The A300, A350, A750?
