Re: What to do next?
These same thoughts have been in my mind lately. I hate to give up on Sony but, like you, I was never a fan of EVF's and it seems like that's all Sony is interested in at the moment. The emphasis also seems to be mainly on the E mount bodies and lenses with nothing new coming out for the A mount lin...

Re: Sony Zeiss E Vario-Tessar T* 16-70mm F/4 ZA OSS Review
It took me 3 tries (all new from B&H) to finally get a good copy of the Sony/Zeiss 16-80. Something is just not right with Sony production when this happens.

Re: A580 diff exposure settings between ovf and liveview
Haven't gotten around to doing this test with and without the eyepiece cover in place. This may be the difference.

Re: A580 diff exposure settings between ovf and liveview
No Dusty, I don't use the viewfinder cap and that, I suspect, is the problem. More experimentation needed.

Re: A580 diff exposure settings between ovf and liveview
I've noticed almost the same thing on my A580. I thought (not absolutely sure) there may be a light leak through the viewfinder when using liveview that causes underexposure?? The other thing I noticed is that the actual focus point is different when using OVF and LV ...., not much, but noticeable.

Re: First time I've had this request...
I had a client not only request the "original, unedited files" but they also wanted the SD card. Long story short, I finally got the 16GB SD card back after about 6 weeks but, they had re-formatted it so it could no longer be used. $20 down the tubes ....., lesson learned.

Re: Old Cars
David,
Thanks for the reply. When I open your picture is PS it says 743x600 @72PPI= 1.28M. This is getting more confusing by the minute. If the limit is 256K, how can you post a 1.28M picture? When I try to do it the PCA program rejects the picture as too large.

Re: Old Cars
I'm confused (happens all the time). I look at the pictures submitted in "Old Cars" with PhotoShop and it says the images are around 2MB. When I try to submit an image that size the program says it is too big ...., maximum size is 256K (actually it says 256KiB - I have no idea what a KiB i...
