There is a car museum just over in Sacramento that is quite nice too. They like to focus on different eras throughout the year, but don't have the best AC so I'd avoid mid summer!

Tuesday was an overcast, flat light day with a lot of smog. I was wrapping up some work and wandered out to a sunset view point. Sury, wish we had more down here just caught the edge of the storm and snow levels were around 8000' so it didn't do much for the spring.

I think particularly the Samyang 35mm 1.4 is tough to compete against. As an owner of the Nikon 24-70mm 2.8 I know it is better than the old 28mm 2.8 prime, which is a 30 year old design. Going to do some hiking and testing today to see what's happening at f/8, I've never seen anything like it before.

Being an impatient American I managed to get my hands on one with the help of a good friend in Japan. A7+ Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 A7+ Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 I got tired of the terrible lens releases on the cheap adapters and got the metabones. It's nice but unfortunately larger in diameter than a lot of the smaller primes.

Sury, I guess this does quality as SoCal, we recently moved to Three Rivers just outside SNP, originally from Mount Shasta on the north end of the state. The person in the Baatara pothole really gives a great sense of scale!
