Re: A77II review finally turns up

Hi David. The camera, at today's price, was a prezzie from my nearest and dearest and comes Birthday, Fathers Day and probably xmas all wrapped up in one. I know it will no doubt come down in price and more than likely have the updates you want on it, but as someone who has never had GPS I don't rea...

Re: A77II review finally turns up

One other question for those more experienced than me. I have tried a burst shot to see not just how it looks but bizarrely how it sounds as well. One thing that I did notice was that the first picture of the burst was held in the EVF so I lost live view on the subject. Had this been for example a m...

Re: A77II review finally turns up

Its a Samsung Note4, so fairly up to date in regards software. No worries, I have ordered a 3rd party wireless shutter release and hope to have better success with that. Thank you for your reply.

Re: A77II review finally turns up

Still very much a steep learning curve with the camera, had to do a full reset as I somehow got it on a setting that I could not get rid of and didn't know how I did it?? I have also been looking at the smartphone wifi use and to be honest its either me (it usually is) or for some reason the camera ...

Re: A77II review finally turns up

I have just taken delivery of my 77ii and man oh man am I confused. I know this is a step up from my old a450, but this thing has settings I have never heard of let alone understand. I really love how it feels and it has a really rugged feel to it. I am struggling to use it and understand it but I a...

Re: a450

I am experiencing a certain softness to my pictures and note fairly high ISO unless in really bright sunlight. I have a Sigma 75-300 SSM and I was hoping the G would be much better, its not a significant difference but cost nearly £400 more. I feared that perhaps my 450 was suffering a little back o...

Re: a450

Thank you both for your welcome replies and very sound advice. I have had my 450 for about 3 years and although I don't know that much about photography, I do like to snap away and every now and then get a photograph that I am very please with. My reason for thinking about a change is because I have...

a450

Just as an introduction I am very much the amature and have been snapping away for a few years now. I started out with a Canon 450D but for some reason I could not get results that I was happy with, so I switched to sony only because the SSS was built into the camera. I have and still use my old a20...
