I recently prchased the 58AM flash and have tried to use it with HSS on A900 but I cannot get it to work with shutter speeds over 250. I am able to use 36AM fine with HSS on A900 up to 4k, even in (M) manual mode but unsuccessful with the 58AM. Any help or insite would be appreciated before I return...

I was thinking about the 24-70 anyway this just confirms it, I have been using the Sony 28 2.8 but it has its gripes on the 900. It works ok I just wanted to know what else would be effective on the 900 platform. Thanks again

I own all three of these lenses and you will appreciate how they produce sharp and crystal clear photo's consistantly. Paired with the A700 the images will look as if they will jump out at you and its truely totally amazing quality. The 1680 captures great pictures however its build quality lacks it...

I do like the lens it takes good pictures ill just have to do as you suggested by using it to take low constrast shots and curb the long shots. Any good long range telephoto lens i should take a look at
