Re: Krynica
Thanks Doc and Sury. No special sharpening on these shots, just my usual delicate USM after resize.

Krynica
Last weekend there was an official meeting of KKM (largest polish forum of Minolta, Konica Minolta and Sony camera users) in Krynica. I wasn’t able to fully participate in meeting, but since its only 60km from my home I drove there to finally meet fellow forum users. Below are few shots that I took ...

Re: Crocuses
Yildiz, perhaps you won't belive me, but my garden is still mostly gray... Only about 30 crocuses and just 2 snowdrops now say its spring already. During night temperature here still drops to 2-3 degrees celsius. I knew that bokeh will result in questions about lens. Especially due to shots #3 and #...

Re: Dusk sunset
Thanks again guys! Glad you like it. Here is wider version of same sunset. Perhaps it looks even more dramatic than previous one.

Re: Dusk sunset
Thanks Dennis and Yildiz. I must say I'm a bit disappointed how it looks on IPS display I have in work compared to my S-PVA in home. Too bad that we can show photo to all other people the same way we see it.

Dusk sunset (added new image)
Today I want to show you just one image taken on my way home from work at end of october. It was very moody dusk sunset. I hope that your displays are at least software calibrated so you can fully enjoy great dynamic range captured in this shot. I intentionally wasn't recovering shadows to keep mood...

Re: Spring is coming!
Winter shouldn't last longer than one month, shoud be with enough snow to cover all grass and stuff, -10 celsius or colder and full sun with blue sky. All other kinds of winter may not exist at all And thanks for looking!

Spring is coming!
Recent forecast says that spring will come early this year. We still have tons of snow here, but it is melting rapidly. Next two weeks should be quite warm - 8 to 12 degrees celsius most of the time. Fingers crossed and waiting for real spring! In the meantime I hope you'll enjoy this "warm&quo...

Re: Cornfield
Yeah, definitely warmer But actually I like it when its very cold. Weather is stable and usually sunny. It was like that for over a week now, and I got few nice winter photos as well as damn cold which knocked me out for almost a week.

Cornfield
Below are two images of really huge cornfield which I took back in 2010. Too bad I wasn’t a bit earlier there, I’d have much less shadow in images. I was really disappointed seeing this field in 2011. It was harvested early and looked so ugly that I haven’t taken even a single shot :-) http://hawk.f...

Re: Ominous skies
Thanks Yildiz. Its not that I'm not happy with this series. I actually like it very much because it show dynamic changes which were taking place in the skies, ie. third photo has nearby fields and trees barely lit by sun, nice and green while far parts are blueish due to rain. On fourth photo rain h...

Re: Ominous skies
Thanks guys. I still think that all of these shots would be way better with real ND grad filter instead of software one. I wasn't really sure if I should post them so its joy to see that you've enjoyed looking at this little series. Such cloudscapes aren't rare here, but usually you have just few mi...

Ominous skies
Below are few images from october that I took with my NEX-3. It is joy to use this camera with old manual focus lenses, however my A700 still delivers much better quality. I’ll probably go for NEX-5N this spring and looking forward to fully replace DSLR with mirroless in future, but maybe lets get b...
